A group of once-extinct Pokemon, revived by the Intelligence Society and powered up to "help create their ideal world". While the trio altogether represent the things IS wishes to stand for, they had all gone extinct due to their general weakness, so in response, the society had grown them all into becoming legendary giants made to destroy "toxic habitats", with the smallest of the three still standing at twenty meters in height.

A Bug/Grass Pokemon that attempted to be cleverly disguised by looking similar to a slightly-folded palm tree leaf; it did not succeed, however, as palm trees do not exist in Gaylisse, and Politoeds looking for food could identify it easily. While the Intelligence Society were quick to make its pattern look more like a leaf from this continent, its flimsy, paper-like body left it too fragile to last long regardless, so they chose to selectively modify its genes, giving its leaf-shaped torso a natural coating that leaves it resistent to all super-effective attacks. This same coating, however, also doubled as a growth agent, leaving the society with a origami bug that, when laid flat, was nearly forty square meters in size.

Katydami, The Poor Disguise Pokemon

Height: 40 m / 131'3"
Weight: 3.2 kg / 7 lbs

"Katydami was an invasive species from a tropical region, looking to disguise itself in the trees, but there are no tropical trees in Gaylisse, so it quickly went extinct."
"Its revived body is covered in a coating shielding it from attacks. It's said that, should a nuclear bomb hit it head-on, a Katydami would likely survive the attack."

A Normal-type Pokemon that was said to have been an invasive species as a result of a travelling child setting it free in the region over a millenia ago, its species was never likely to last long in Gaylisse, due both to its mediocre qualities compared to similar rodents such as Rattata and its short lifespan. As even desperate measures to keep it alive longer than a few years were failing, the Intelligence Society instead opted to capture its wandering spirit, giving it a Normal/Ghost typing and a possible immortality. Unlike the others, Guineag's spiritual qualities allow it to choose any size it wishes; it just happens to enjoy being 20 meters tall, as it has grown quite tired of all these obnoxious predators, thank you very much.

Guineag, The Uninspiring Rodent Pokemon

Height: 20 m / 65'7"
Weight: 0.1 kg / 0.2 lbs

"Guineag had gone extinct centuries ago, as they were originally pets who never yearned for combat, making them unfit for even a mildly dangerous environment."
"After being given spiritual powers, Guineag was expected to destroy the forests, but being a simple creature, it would rather wander and occasionally eat grass."

The Pokemon attacks so lazily, it doesn't even move its clawed hand, and a spiritual aura does the attack instead. This attack ignores resistances and immunities, because it can't be bothered to pay attention to them.

A male-only Water-type species, this Pokemon attempted to breed solely with other fish Pokemon, but failed heavily, as the combination of its tiny size and its lack of boundaries meant that it was driven to extinction by rival male Pokemon, who viewed it purely as a nuisance. As one lead manager of the Society in particular viewed this Pokemon as "the most pure example of what a good world needs", scientists quickly got to work on enlarging the fish to the best of their ability, as it was already more than aggressive enough to fight, but after giving it one growth hormone too many, the Water/Poison type Pokemon that resulted could no longer even fit in any of the massive fish tanks in the laboratory, forcing them to hide the creature in a nearby lake.

Compulras, The Heart Break Pokemon

Height: 50 m / 164'1"
Weight: 2000kg / 4409 lbs

"Compulras was once a sad, tiny fish at only three centimeters tall, going extinct from its desperate need to meet female Pokemon it could not get the attention of."
"Researchers were once curious about the pheromones it releases, thinking it to be possibly useful in perfumes, only to find that all it does is paralyze the nerves."

While many regions have their own formes of Pokemon, Gaylisse is unique in that it houses many prehistoric formes of Pokemon, such as Meganium, as well as Pokemon that had only evolved to adapt to the environment relatively recently, such as Smeargle.

What looks to be a simple Johto Chikorita, with one critical exception: its green-ish leafy fuzz wrapping its entire body, as if they were feathers. Living in a cold area near the mountains, the Chikorita is mostly expected by its parents to sit in the sun all day, until it has stored enough energy to become a Bayleef.

Chikorita, The Fluffy Leaf Pokemon

"An aroma not dissimilar to a sweet berry wafts from the fluffy leaf atop its head, a useful tactic to hide itself amongst trees from predators as it soaks in the sun."
"While it may look like its feathery leaves can be used to fly, they simply aren't sturdy enough, though they allow it to fall great distances without hurting itself."

Slowly becoming more flying-type than grass-type, the Bayleef's fluffy feathers have taken on a far more sturdy pale-green quality, with the only green part left being the single leaf at the top of its head. While it is old enough to start properly wandering to train itself, it is still too dangerous to roam the mountains, as until it evolves into a Meganium, it is easy prey for ice-type Pokemon.

Bayleef, The Feathered Leaf Pokemon

"The scent on its single leaf is similar to a spicy fruit that many Pokemon near the mountain get competitive over, leading them to a Bayleef willing to fight them."
"While a Bayleef in Johto takes pride in its leaves, this Bayleef wishes for nothing more than them to fall, so that it may finally be allowed to traverse the mountains."

A Meganium with thick, fluffy white feathers surrounding its body like a cloud, and a green, puffy, yet tough flower-like shell around its neck, having shed the last of its leaves and leaving behind its grass typing. It lives at the base of the cold mountain area, using the small, talon-like claws on its sturdy feet to climb up the mountain and scavenge trees for food, before floating back down with its cloud-like exterior softening the fall. While researchers had assumed it to be a differing evolution to Johtonian Meganium, they were shocked to discover that the Gaylissean variant had come first, as the Johtonians simply had no icy mountains to scale, and thus, no reason to shed their leaves for feathers.

Meganium, The Flowery Cloud Pokemon

Height: 1.9 m / 6'1"
Weight: 87 kg / 192 lbs

"While scientists had assumed the object around Meganium's neck to be a flower like its Johtonian form, it's simply a decorative shell to store heat."
"Meganium prefer to live at the base of mountains, as once it climbs up to get food from the trees, it can simply float down back to its home."

A strange forme of Smeargle who, after migrating from Unova less than a century ago, decided to try and look more like the colorful characters of Gaylisse, looking at the many flags adorned on and around people's homes for inspiration. Having multi-colored swirls on its brush that it can change at will, its paintings are known to fetch a high price for its uniqueness, as normal paint cannot quite reach the level of saturation as Smeargle's.

Smeargle, The Painter's Pride Pokemon

Height: 1.3 m / 4'3"
Weight: 58 kg / 128 lbs

"It looks to the windows of homes for inspiration, as many people in Gaylisse will proudly display the colors of their personal flags up for the Smeargle."
"Over 100 variants of Smeargle's multicolored brushes are currently known to exist, and it's possible that with the right inspiration, the variations could be infinite."

Gains the ability of the Pokemon this user first sketches. Does not work on Pokemon with forme-reliant abilities, such as Aegislash.

An Important PSA
For reasons still unknown to researchers, Gaylissean Smeargle can only have two sketched moves; the moment it tries to get three, the first move it sketches simply disappears. This can be useful to would-be competitive trainers, however, as it means one can sketch an ability, then sketch the two moves they want. Below are the Non-Sketch Moves that Smeargle can learn.

A skinny, tiny black Meowth, standing on its hind legs when still but on all fours when it runs about. Very fragile, and unable to do much when it's raining, which happens to be very common in the region's forest areas, trainers will often bring along small sweaters when traveling through so cold Meowths can feel warmer.

Meowth, The Void Cat Pokemon

Height: 0.30 m / 1'0"
Weight (w/o Fluffy Sweater): 3 kg / 7 lbs
Weight (w/ Fluffy Sweater): 5 kg / 11 lbs

"It was said that this Meowth came about after an Alolan Meowth and a Galarian Meowth had laid an egg together, creating a strangely skinny, yet fuzzy Pokemon."
"While it ought to be difficult for Meowth to exist in rainy environments, its psychic powers allow it to easily find trainers willing to provide shelter and warmth."

Signature Ability - Skinny Fuzz
Doubles speed, but loses 1/16th health every turn. This ability can be nullified when holding a Fluffy Sweater. Has separate visual formes to determine if it is wearing the Fluffy Sweater or not.

After leveling to 28 or higher while holding a Fluffy Sweater, Meowth can evolve into this forme of Perrserker, wearing a much-fuzzier-than-expected helmet with softened horns and an extremely puffy sweater that goes up to its mouth, surprisingly soft and warm to the touch considering how it is the result of Perrserker's natural steel material. While it's much smaller than a Galarian Perrserker, being half the height and a third the weight, it seems to pack quite the surprising durability, possibly because of its sweater being so soft and thick that it nullifies many attacks. Is much more chilled-out than the Perrserkers of Galar, though because its psychic powers are slightly weakened compared to when it was a Meowth, it's sometimes known to fight other Pokemon or even humans based on vague feelings of malicious intent (or "bad vibes", as Je lovingly refers to it as).

Perrserker, The Void Fluff Pokemon

Height: 0.35 m / 1'2"
Weight: 9 kg / 20 lbs

Its sweater-like material resisting all forms of cold weather has made Perrserker a trusted friend to many hikers in Gaylisse looking to explore through rain and snow.
While its psychic powers are weaker, it can still sense a vague intent of others, sometimes leading to miscommunication and getting into fights it didn't need to.
